Blake Passage Points of Interest

There are numerous locations to have a fun day or evening in the Blake Passage region.  Some of the more obvious ones are The Juneau Marina where you can lease a yacht in a peaceful harbor with a gorgious panorama of the Blake Passage Area. Also available at the marina are kayak rides, boat "rentals",  fishing and a boarding platform for the Skagway and Yukon Railroad.

The Juneau Airport (SLJU) features a number of commercial airlines that will shuttle you into and out of the Blake Passage area to locations all over Second Life.  Headed by the same great staff that makes SLJU's sister, Hollywood Airport by far the most popular airport in SL, you will enjoy great views, great service, and a great place to hang out. The southern terminal of the S&Y RR is here and frequent trains pick up passages for a seven sim run that takes you to the mainland in the northwest corner of Blake Passage.

The Skagway Community Center is the location of regular meetings of Blake Passage residents where we enjoy all manner of entertainments and education about the Alaskan Native culture. Check it out.

The Columbia River sims in the southern part of Blake Passage immerses you in an fantastic ride up or down the Columbia River and its treacherous Columbia Bar.

Mountain bike rides and horseback trails wind their way around the Columbia River area and the Totum Island sims. Look for the icons on the main Blake Passage Map to find the trailheads.

Fishing is also popular in Blake Passage. Look for those icons on the map as well.
